Debian GNU / kFreeBSD included in the archive of the main package

Support for unofficial architectures kfreebsd-i386 and kfreebsd-amd64 has been integrated into official "unstable" and "experimental" branches of Debian GNU / Linux infrastructure, representing an attempt to combine the FreeBSD kernel with user environment based on GNU-glibc and utilities. The code of the FreeBSD 6.3 (kfreebsd-source-6.3) and FreeBSD 7.1 (kfreebsd-source-7.1) kernels package inetgrated into repository.

Adding to the archive of packages freebsd-libs, freebsd-utils and libfreebsd, freebsd-hackedutils, kfreebsd-loader, as well as fixes for several bugs in the coreutils and util-linuxis packages is expected in the nearest future. After that the kfreebsd-architectures installation build will be placed on ftp.debian.org for the Debian Squeeze testing branch.
